Walkers' Trail

Our youth group, under the leadership of Tanner, took a fall break trip to Sky Ranch Horn Creek in Westcliffe, CO.  It was Tanner's former employer for several years before moving to our church. We had a group of 23 and loaded up in the two church vans. I was the group photographer! Cute pic with my biggest little! As we were eating dinner the first night at the local pizza place, a group of stinky men came in to share the banquet room with us.  Turns out they are all firefighters and had been battling a fire just over the mountain from us.  Tanner asked us all to get around them and say a prayer for them - cool moment. The first day was a service day to the camp.  It was tough stuff, a long day, and all in thin air! The next morning we headed to town, primarily because Tanner wanted to go to the Amish bakery, the local favorite. The only good thing about a  funeral is the ability to catch up with relatives - and in my case, cousins!  Don't I have gorgeous cousins?!  They are just as beautiful on the outside, too!  :) everyone but Chad 2nd cousins playing around! After Granny's funeral, we all headed to Hefner Grille on Lake Hefner for a great meal. Reid completed his night by building some amazing designs at Kelly and Tony's house.  Jason had lunch with Reiders at school  I snuck some sweet shots while he was sleeping!  Sunrise on the way to SMS Sports We've missed this cute face!!
