We decided it would be too long to wait until spring break to see Grant and made a quick trip to COS to visit him. I headed out on a cheap flight on Friday and was able to get an extra afternoon of fun in with him. Poster in the airport... of course Luke is on it. I drove to Woodland Park, Manitou Springs, and Green Mountain Falls to check them all out. I also had looked at different hikes on campus to try. I opted for doing "the stairs" solo. There are 306 stairs (that's what the app said) and I decided to do it twice. SUCKING AIR. Very unfortunately, the day after we left, the area at the bottom of the stairs and to the west were hit by a wildfire and made the news. THIS PICTURE - made me happy. I was hanging out waiting on a bench overlooking the campus and I felt a reason to look right - and there he was!!! All soldiery and camo and grinning.  After he attended a lecture, he changed and we headed out. Last time he'll see us on a weekend and have to wear his dress ...

100's weekend was earlier at the Academy. It is 100 days until graduation and one weekend, all the upperclassmen leave campus to have fun and the freshmen stay to decorate senior rooms - usually in jokes or pranks. This is one of the rooms Grant did - they drywalled over the door. Grant and his roommate, Brennan. Grant also led the charge to take the senior flight suits and drape across the common yard.  Eddie is facebook famous again Reid was sick for 9 days - most with a fever but for sure zero energy. Glad it is over!

I'll get right on that for you. BRAT. (love you!) News from USAFA - the Jedi were #1 in a physical challenge. His friend took this - cracks me up. 6 mile run with their ruck and gun. Squad Spirit Missions - theirs was ultimately a (fail) but they had fun trying to cover the planetarium with a tarp that looked like the Death Star. Reid has been playing a little tennis. This was his first time at the OSU outdoor. It was a glorious evening. I took this picture and sent it to his brothers and told them he had way cuter teammates than they ever had. ha! KYLE IS 17!!!! We celebrated with burgers, two desserts (he didn't have to cut weight), and his grandparents. Hello, genetics. One thing I noticed - he has shrunk. Literally. He said that happens when you wre...
