6!! and Lost Creek Safari

Our first day of summer started with a trip to the Lost Creek Safari with a few friends from playgroup.  Grant and Kyle decided to spend the entire time in the car (boring old brothers!).  Reid and I had a super time.   holding a Wallaby   holding a Kangaroo   this little guy is tiny and precious! He is the only one in Oklahoma - a little bigger than a 12oz can.    this is the largest breed of bunny! This little baby doll of ours has turned 6 - did you know it now takes TWO HANDS to show how old he is?!?  :)

Our boys are so lucky, right?!  :)  They have parents that will climb and play with them on the playgrounds!    Just some family cuddles...   Alyson and Ron came to Stillwater!   Grant had a super year in 6th!  He came away as Top 10 student, Honor Roll, Top Musician and voted Most Friendly and Outgoing!  Not too shabby!       our very serious football player in his new "real" outfit!   the little sibs catching a brief moment of calm in the shade   Grant running to the dugout after scoring the tying run!   they win!   He hadn't been home 20 minutes from a full day of hot baseball and Grant asked to go play tennis. Now that is a farmer's tan!  :)

what is our creative independent-play child going to do while sitting at Hideaway waiting on his food?  Why, make a baseball field out of the sugar packets, perfectly color-coded!   Grant had some throw up, which led to a sleep late/skip day the following morning! video games in bed with me!  :)  YES! he then challenged me to a tennis match!   Introducing Mr. Rickie Fowler Kyle had to dress in character for State Night as a representative of California. He nailed it!   meanwhile, the little brothers found the kickball field!   Meet the Westwood Running Club Champions. These two ran 34.6 miles in 6 weeks!   It was color run day!   The grade winners for running club!   May the 4th be with you - tee ball style!
