Making a post to mark this tragic event. I had once heard 94 homes were destroyed and hundreds other with damage. I don't know the correct numbers as of now. We kept hearing it was the perfect storm of humidity, wind and lack of rain that caused 18 years of damage in about 5 hours.

When you're watching the TV and the white line goes directly over your neighborhood, things get a little spicier.

My parents had initially gone to a friend's home but they were then evacuated so they came to join us along with some neighbors of ours. As the evening went on, they could see fire on their Ring doorbell.
