St. Louis road trip
This past week, my boss was out of town for work and he didn't have much for me to do so he said to take the days off. Reid didn't have many responsibilities. While sitting at breakfast waiting on Eddie to get groomed, we finalized the idea to go to St. Louis to see his Cubs play the Cardinals the next day.
Bought our tickets in a good location to get hits near us (in theory - didn't pan out)We left home around 2 and once we settled in, Reid found Fox Business with a documentary on the B-29 Super Fortress and WWII bombs, and we watched that for an hour (!!!).
Up and ready to go - off to City Museum. We got there a few minutes before they opened and, I guess, as a sedan, we were sent to a different parking lot than the other family cars. Reid is looking at the front door and my car is behind him. End spot. Extra space. Amazing. :) I was slightly stressing about parking downtown so this was a nice first stop. We had a great time running, climbing, sliding, exploring and looking at the stuff. Reid thought he was a little too tall to do this dark 8 story climbing/sliding room so he thinks the ideal age is 12 or a little shorter than he is now. :) We visited this place in 2014 but he was 3 and doesn't remember it at all.

I should mention that next to Zoltar (from Big) was a hockey foosball table he was beggggging me to play. It cost $2 and I didn't want to pay that but finally did. I beat him 3-0 and say it was money well-spent!

12 stories up on the roof!
Jason loaned me his Chicago t-shirt and wanted proof I was wearing it.
Reid picked lunch - Sugarfire BBQ.

There is a new museum on the western frontier development, and Reid read it all! This boy loves knowledge and history on most subjects.
Game time! Great seats. It was a really slow game - only two hits from the Cubs the whole time. It was 0-0 after 9 and had to go to extra innings. Cardinals ended up winning. Yea for Grant's team, boo for Reid's team.
We had a fun night back at the hotel - more Fox Business, but this time with popcorn, and we stayed up late. Dunkin Donuts was in our hotel parking lot so we snagged that on the way outta town and filled our bellies with deliciousness.
Love our kiddos and thankful for the opportunity to spend time with Reid. Thanks to Jason for working and betting he enjoyed a quiet few days doing his own thing!
