St. Louis road trip

This past week, my boss was out of town for work and he didn't have much for me to do so he said to take the days off. Reid didn't have many responsibilities. While sitting at breakfast waiting on Eddie to get groomed, we finalized the idea to go to St. Louis to see his Cubs play the Cardinals the next day. Bought our tickets in a good location to get hits near us (in theory - didn't pan out) We left home around 2 and once we settled in, Reid found Fox Business with a documentary on the B-29 Super Fortress and WWII bombs, and we watched that for an hour (!!!). Up and ready to go - off to City Museum. We got there a few minutes before they opened and, I guess, as a sedan, we were sent to a different parking lot than the other family cars. Christmas in July at the Clarks. Fun evening with friends. more golf from Grant John got his license, and Reid's birthday gift was to pay for his dinner wherever he wanted but he had to drive him! ha. Reid's been driving a lot, too. Happy birthday to Dad! When you can wear shorts this summer that you couldn't last summer... you take a pic! "Quality time" with Reid - includes him asleep with a blanket over his head. We did have a nice lunch at Teds and afternoon with Emily and her boys.

Kyle went a few times before we were attending Sunnybrook and now Reid is going with his youth group. It's 6 days in the mountains and the kids don't have phones. This year's lesson was based on Sermon on the Mount. Thanks to group leaders for doing a great job in snagging these memories. Setting up their tent - Reid, Hudson, Thomas and Max Rafting Day - turned out to be "floating, basketball, volleyball, ropes course day" as there wasn't enough water for rafting. Which I really think is a nice break for those who have been multiple times to do a different activity. two of his favorite friends - Claire and Raegan Each night has a theme - jersey, neon, meme, twin, and opposites were this year. Here are guys for Meme night. Breckenridge Day - they're turned loose in Breck after a group photo for shopping, expl...
