As the weather this week made it to the 90's, it made me want to post about this! I have become a HUGE fan of wearing sunscreen on a daily basis - whether it's 60 degrees or 90 degrees. After having a sun-sensitivity reaction/diagnosis and hearing of several people in their late 20's with melanoma spots removed and being treated for cancer, I just want to urge you to always wear sunscreen. Most of us ladies have done our fill of getting our "base tan" in tanning beds over the years or tanning because we think it makes us look better (not arguing there - hate my white stomach) - but is it REALLY, REALLY worth what could happen?!?! Especially remember to cover up those little kids with protection.
In the words of my dermatologist friend, "there is no GOOD tan so don't tan." FYI - both of my friends who are dermatologists wear and/or recommend Neutrogena sunscreen with Helioplex as a great one for full coverage.
Lather it on, baby!
