Halloween, pumpkins, racing and more!

The boys and I headed to our local lake one day during "school" to hike and fish.

This is the dock where Jason proposed to me - fun to be here 19 years later with three kiddos in tow.

Progress at the dental office.

We went to our local pumpkin patch to find the supply huge this year.  Jason still has the most fun out of any of us.
This is me waving - the woman behind the camera!

Reid loves to snuggle up!

Cousin Will is not only an engineer but he is part of a real racing team.  His team raced a few weeks ago at Hallett, which is about 45 minutes from our house.  We went to support him and his purple Porsche!

It was all of the Walker's first time to watch a real race!  We had a blast.  Jason stayed home and we wished he had come.

We didn't go anywhere for fall break, but we did pitch the tent in our backyard.  On that Sunday, there was a gentle rain.  I snuck inside with a good book and may have disappeared from responsibility for a few hours.

Working at the church, it has been nice to be able to bring a kid (or two or three) to work with me during distance learning.  Reid took a school break and started bowling and trying to figure out the methods of keeping score in bowling.

This would be Kyle bored.... He was trying to make Grant laugh!  It worked.

Halloween House.

Remember that one time I accidently wore my house slippers to work?!?  At least they look like loafers!

Eddie earned his cone of shame...

Major ice storm hit the area.  Our lot is a wooded acre.  We only have three big trees in the front yard, and sadly, they were damaged badly.  Our backyard, full of oaks and pecans, only had two tiny branches fall.  Weird how the damage happened.

Jack, Clay, Tucker and Reid were "childhood" friends (they're obviously still kids, but like preschool age buddies).  The Yurciches came to town for the OSU v Texas football game and we had a quick playdate.

Trunk or Treat at the church - I put these two in charge of our trunk and they knocked it out of the park!

We were invited to go to the suites for a football game.  Lots of fun on Halloween with the Waits.

Watching Plane with a cute 'lil 9 year old in my lap.

The view from my desk today... Reiders on his school chromebook doing his work.

Maybe it was that he was procrastinating going to sleep, or maybe he really wanted Daddy cuddles, or a combo of both... but these two sat like this for several minutes.  I think Jason's heart melted a bit!

Always fun to get pics of a kiddo during he day - thanks to teacher friends!

Kyle had his first legit Junior High party - we asked him to wear a mask the whole time which is so not cool but he texted he took it off for pictures but that was it.

Reid and his friends dressed us as The Sandlot crew for KLife small group!
