Welcome to the Dental Office!

Several years in the making, our "Dental Office 2018 Reno" is (almost) complete!  We were given an estimate of 4-6 months from our builder, and here we are, nearly 16 months after construction began, and that builder only made it on the actual site two times?!?  We had a foreman who wanted to work slow the rest of the time.

I am so proud of Jason for his vision, for his patience, for his work ethic, for his desire to improve the physical work environment, and for his smart use of finances to realize staying in our current location rather than buying a lot is a much better use of resources.  We were barely over budget, even during Covid price gauges!  Yahoo!

We think it came together beautifully, with many thanks to my parents, especially Mom, for her help when we couldn't decide what to do.  (I am never going to build a home from scratch. Ever.)
Feedback from patients and staff has been so positive.

These were supposed to be 30" by 40" and are much smaller, but I still think they're stud.
And look at that grasscloth they are showcased on?!?

At this time, only one of the lights are hung as the other arrived broken.

End of Summer and Back to School!

Happy birthday instagram message to our favorite Air Force cadet!

Reid didn't remember the Oklahoma City zoo, at all.  (booo!)  He and I planned an afternoon trip the day before school started to get that memory made!  We spent time with the Lorikeets and he really enjoyed that experience.

He wanted to see the bear up close but this was about as close as we were able to get.

Lib, Amaris and Mattox joined us for a good portion of the day! It's always good to catch up with family outside of the huge gatherings so you can really visit.  Sure is fun to see them at this stage of life!  The kids are about the same age Grant and Kyle were when we had Reid!
Must have been REALLY busy  :)

The red panda and then a striped tail cat were his favorite animals to see....

Until he saw the zebra and the giraffes - then he had four favorite animals!
We were able to visit with the giraffe zookeeper for several minutes and she gave us all sorts of fun information about them that was special.

He got Dippin Dots AND Sonic afterwards.  It was HOT!!

Meet the Teacher at Westwood - for the LAST TIME EVER!
We have been at this wonderful school for THIRTEEN years!
Reid has the same teacher Kyle did in 5th as well (and she's a friend).

Buddy Cort is just about his only friend in there... thankful for him.

First Day of School 2021

Donut date with Mom at 7am to beat the crowd (that never came!)

Due to Covid, we weren't allowed to walk them in the building, but he did ask that I walk him to the door rather than just drop off in the line.  OKAY!

Fun to get first day pictures! Seated and ready to go!

2nd day of school reading nook pic!

First Day of Freshman Year

Gotta look good!  :)

Technically, this was his second day of school as his Meridian classes started a day before SPS.  He's a Junior!

"Hey, send me a picture of you the first day since I missed it!"
So I got a group selfie on day 2 of Meridian

It's officially volleyball season!  We have crowds this season - wow!

My biggest fans!

Reid started his very first fire in the chimenea and it went for a really long time!

Josh, Madison and I were lucky enough to spend our entire Saturday (starting at 4:45am) at the Jenks volleyball tournament.  Here are the newbies - 7th.

Here are the 8th graders.

Stuco Execs at their first Howdy Week event - ice cream social and water balloon fights.  Grant said about 200 people showed up and it went longer than planned because people were having so much fun.  Do you think more boys need to step up in to the leadership?!?!  :)
