School movie, 4th field trip and shaving cream fight!

Our school had our first movie night (put on by the wonderful PTA! ha!) and it was fun. At one point, my head count was at 140 and I didn't catch the back part of the room with the lingering parents.

4th grade field trip
It was supposed to be at the FCA director's home but was rained out to a parking lot.  Two "guinea pigs" were needed to demonstrate the world's largest portable teeter totter.  Guess who one of the lucky parents was?!?!

the field trip was a lot of team building and trust exercises.

Grant's teacher taking on one of the OSU linemen!  :)

Second grade (Mrs. Fox specifically) Medieval Feast
They each made their own goblet, placemat, and she brings in her sewing machine and they have to sew and design their cape.

Our OSU spots!

So thankful for the following locations so that we're here, still together, 15 years later.
Love you, babe!

These were taken on an evening excursion to OSU with Reid and Kyle (Jason and Grant were at baseball).  The bench where we first talked is now a paved sidewalk but Kyle is making a heart shape (his idea!) with his shadow on the spot!  We met at the Mathematical Sciences building with him opening the center door for Erryn and me.

Happy 13th anniversary to us!

Variety Show and a wet day!

Where, oh, where, is Stacy's brick?  It's there.... yea, I can't read it either.  OSU is going to fix it in October!  Glad JD's held up well! (mine is to the right of his)

A little tickle fight on library lawn!

We've had so much rain lately. You can't really tell but there is a downpour happening during these pictures. The boys are running in 4" in the street splashing each other.  There is also a picture of Catey - who decided to run away, and then when we went to get her, she took off fast for a block, then stopped to stare at us and then continued home.

The school's variety show was Friday. Grant and Nathan made up a skit and tried out, and made it!  Guess the show really needed some kid-humor in it between all of the dance and singing solos.  They did a great job with their original skit and the kids loved them.  I proud of the guts it took to perform in a packed gymnasium!

golf, Mother's day, random

Reid's closet most mornings - ya think he was up playing when he may have needed to have been sleeping?!?  He's definitely Kyle's brother when it comes to fashion desire...

We took a family golf outing to a local course!
HAD. A. BLAST!

Grant in the background is cracking me up - wish you could zoom on here but the quality to crop wasn't very clear. He has a very happy smile!

little man!

I was able to help Mrs. Fox celebrate her birthday with the second graders!

Kinda classic story here.
We're getting ready for school. Reid's in garage. I got in to grab something and come back out. He looks like this. I say "what happened?!" and he said "I found Grant's chapstick!"
"what? where"
"there...."
"oh, you mean the eye black for baseball?! Yea, you found it!"

Mother's Day 2015

This is Tiny Tim, our turtle.  He has since been released from the box and escaped our backyard.

One of the joys of remodeling - finding a pretty sink, only to have it delivered in about 20 pieces.  Wayfair and/or allmodern.com (the same company/different name apparently) were excellent in their customer service skills - highly recommend.
