Volleyball and school have started - plus some extra fun!

Dance pictures! Reid had his first middle school dance last week.
Pre-party with is baseball dudes.
Post-party with the same group and a few new kids
Traveling for volleyball - my favorite driver ever!
Several of Kyle's friends are driving - off with Jack!
off with Colby!
They were caught at Sonic in a downpour and his mom wouldn't let him leave until it let up.
Church friends serving together
We had our final summer ball basketball tournament in Wichita. Ended up renting a house with two other families.
Thankfully, Isaac was there!
Kyle's team lost out and Sam's team was playing. I took off the last one of Sam's games and let these two crash at the house and watch a movie.
Mom friends!
Volleyball team dinner at Hideaway.
I got a cookie!
Our first game of the season was against Edmond Summit before school even started.
Our high school girls were not playing so they all came after practice - it was so much fun with them there! They brought the cheering!
My fans!
The whole program!
Grant Jason Walker started his senior year. He thought it would be funny to dress how he did when he first went to school. Love him.
His first six years of going to school...
Mr. Middle School - 6th grade
We happened to run into Isaac at dropoff so that worked out beautifully to have a buddy to walk in with on the first day.
Mr. High School - 10th grade
I didn't get to take him this year because his friends drive and Colby wanted to take him!
Kinda sad but they had fun.
After school ice cream at Melanie's house (I had to miss it because I was coaching a game against Mustang Central - we won!)
Cute picture of Dad on the internet

That Saturday was our tournament in Jenks. We were in the "good" gym (top 8 teams) and ended up winning the silver bracket. We got five good matches in that day.
Both teams had the same record and had a good day.
Jason loves the Lumineers.
He wanted the entire family to go to the concert but only I said yes. There were so many of Kyle's friends there, too...
We had excellent seats. We were 11 rows back, on an interior aisle (could sit and still see if we wanted but we stood), and around normal people.

Opening act for them - James Bay (you'd know his songs if you don't know his name)
Confetti everywhere!
This was such a fun show. The band seemed very engaged, the videos and lighting were excellent, and the stage was constantly changing.

Kyle and his driving friends... out having fun again! This group of kids love to be together (not this five but like the entire group of 30 of them).
Eskimo Joes after Sophomore Welcome night
(even though they're sophomores, it is a new building in Stillwater - first year in HS)
Pretty rain storm moving in when Jason was at the land
We went with the Joyces to go see Turnpike Troubadors in Kansas City. Will's brother decided on Monday that he couldn't go (something about a daughter's birthday!) and Will knew Jason was a fan. We made a quick trip north. They had three bands open for them before they came on. Huge crowd in a cool outdoor amphitheater.
