YAG, basketball and misc

Always a sort of picture to make a parent proud....

Grant spent last weekend at the Youth and Goverment convention - stayed in Downtown OKC with other Stillwater students and spent a few days at the Capitol.  Pretty darn cool experience. I didn't really realize what was involved but he explained the night he got home. They had legitimate trial experiences (he was a prosecution attorney) and his team placed 3rd out of 12.

Here he is with Rep. John Talley

Casino night at the hotel

Eddie taking a midday snooze during our snow day (1st of three)

Kyle does actually love me and will ever so often come cuddle. He just loved to be snagged doing so with a picture!  I did! Literally glowing  :)

ReJoyce for Joyce!  Will was reelected and we enjoyed celebrating at his watch party.

The baseball team had their annual Dance Off (pom girls choreograph dances and boys compete). Grant's group of StuCo buddies came and you can hear them yelling for him on the video. Makes this mom's heart happy!

Basketball season ended last week.  The team was 3-16.  Pretty typical though.  Kyle had 2 weeks where he was not in a cast or a brace this season so it was very uneventful for us/him.  I did love this picture that captured his joy of being with the team.

Lets see how many of the front row guys can stand on their tiptoes for pictures?

This darn stinkin' cute young man is now 15!

Mugsys with some of the gang!

We didn't celebrate much this year due to everything (game on his bday) but he wanted brownies (Easy!) (hands in pockets - almost always!)

We had 4" of snow and that resulted in THREE snow days.  We made the most of it with an afternoon of sledding with friends and neighbors.

Jason had TWO snow days - first ever cancelled in advance - so we slept in and kept on PJ pants most every day.

Grant had four buddies go with him sledding.

There's Anna, Grant, Henry and Caleb in their long line. They were "snowboarding" too.

Chilling - literally - with John

I found Kelly and family!

I rode back to the house with the Lawsons so Jason could help this whole group of knuckleheads back to their 9th grade party (and then deliver my family home safely).

Thankful for fun neighbors!

cutest and bestest and most funnest husband around!
Kyle went to a birthday overnight at a casino/cool place with his friend.  Good time and new place to explore.

The land... hunting for beavers and wild hogs....

Reid said the pond looked just like a beaver. Gotta say, it is pretty darn close!

Grant and Jason updated his lights to LEDs - makes the truck look a decade newer!
My spot for a few days - couch with a snowy view

A big event happened here - Reiders got his braces!  His case is the most complex of the boys and will take the longest to be finished.  He was all smiles for about 30 minutes and then completely over them. His front gap was closed so quickly (hours) and he was in pain for 3 days.
