Late June fun!

Just a shot of the deck flowers. They make me happy.

For Father's Day, we had the early game at Chicken and Pickle in OKC, and then drove to Roman Nose State Park.  Kyle was at Wyldlife camp.

Happy Father's Day to my dad (got a hug but not a picture!) and this stud.  He's pretty great, most of the time (ha), and such a good example for his sons to have in their lives.  Love you, babe!

More Swarm ball - they're currently 5-0 in the summer league (way better than the spring).

Being a kid during the summer is hard.  We had been in the car less than one mile from his activity.

Kyle is our busy kid for camps this summer.  He is currently at #3, FFA Camp, as I write.  This one was Young Life's Wyldlife camp.  He just had an amazing time with nearly every single friend of his.  All of the girls his age were at dance competition so it was really a fun guy weekend.

Volleygirls did it... again!  This time, with only four players, we snagged the championship.  Yay!  It was a whole new/different team, and a fun one!

Mom and her BFF, Debbie!

Reid is off on his very first overnight camp as I write!  He is at Cyokamo with Sunnybrook.  He has one friend, Tucker, and that's about it (which is, ironically, not the kid whose neck he has his arm around so I think he'll be fine) - he'll do great and was really exicted.

Thankful for Rachelle who takes two neighbor kids along with hers to get haircuts.  :)

Jason doesn't get to fish often with Kyle. Look what his fancy bait caught him yesterday?!

May and beginning of June

The smoothest part of the dental office remodel and addition was this sign.
Shoutout to Royal Signs in Hennessey if any of my three readers need a sign in the future!
They were great from start to finish.

Carrie and Stacy. She's leaving me at work so we have a cute picture.

This dude was elected HS Stuco Treasurer!  He is the only boy on an Exec team of 10!  :)  So proud he is wanting to try his hand at leadership and do more than just school and sports.

Reid is still a little kid, playing with toys.  This day, he had his store open and was grilling up hot dogs for all of us.

Oh my golly goodness.  Blogspot has changed something in their system that has made photo uploading and then moving them around within my post more complicated. Therefore, I uploaded these on June 14th and am just getting around to piddling with them.  As I adjust them, some of them delete and then I forget what they were... So it may not be complete when I have such a time span of pictures.
Better some than none.

Pioneer ball wrapped up...

Mother's Day was spent at the ballfield with my four little guys!

Strawberries are coming along in the garden!

These two are pretty inseparable. They are both very adventurous.

We went to grab dinner and Reid asked if we could give this man food. So we bought him a sandwich, which he put in his bag with probably the other 20 sandwiches he'd gotten that evening. Oh well.

Drillers season wrapped up the first weekend of June.  This is the closest to a team picture as we were able to get.

He snuck down and went to sleep in our room - perpendicular to how he was supposed to be... will miss these days as they'll end before we know it!

Reid's pants were dirty.  He thought I may not get the stains out of his pants so I got a note on the kitchen counter...

and speaking of dirty... there is no dirty like red dirt baseball field dirty...

Our family has been able to support Kyle's basketball skills this year with his league AAU team in Edmond.  He's had at least 1 game and 1 practice a week at various locations.  It's been a great opportunity for him as he is one of the two best players on this team, which hasn't been the case on previous teams.  He has stepped up as a leader and it has been great to see him mature, both physically and emotionally on the court.

Three Stillwater boys his age tried out for teams... of course they all ended up on different ones!  Cale, #31, is one of his best buds!

Sam and Jake came down to watch them play against each other.

Support team!

My dad and his Beta brothers had a reunion with their group of guys in Stillwater.
Cavett, Tim, Morrison, Dad and Jim.

Reid cut his own sideburns...  nice and even with the top of the ear.  He learned to not do that again!

The smile in this one cracks me up - he was so proud but realized how dumb they looked.

PTA fundraiser event one of the last days of school. Go, Reid, Go!

Ethan, Reid, Isaac and Cooper waiting for Ethan's big brother on the Senior Walk

A Westwood tradition is State Night.  It was different this year, and it was State Day, with no parents attending, but the kids didn't know any different and had a great time.

Reid was Eddie Sutton.  Our school tagged OSU Men's Basketball on the twitter post, and it was retweeted on their account which Reid thought was so cool (I don't have twitter so he was shown it by the secretary).

Finally able to have full capacity at O'Brate Stadium and be in our regular seats - which are so darn good!

Cecil O'Brate and President Bush.  Yup, they were right there...

Reid's favorite part!  :)

Reid's class award for 4th grade - Never A Dull Moment  :)  Yes, yes, I can agree...

Reid has asked for a surprise party a few times, but it had been a while, and he was very surprised when it finally happened for his 10th birthday!  Thanks to Reece, Ethan, Tucker, Cooper, Breck and Isaac for being able to come (John was gone!).  He had a great time.

Grant was his distraction by taking him to Daylight for a late breakfast.

Love you, Mr. Double Digits!

Later in the day, Reid went to Reece's 10th birthday party, too!

Cake and presents that night!

3rd grade is the year to attend the one room school house, Pleasant Valley.  Due to Covid, Reid's whole grade missed it.  Rachelle organized one day for a few of the kiddos to be able to go.  It was great!

Reid and Raegan

Hi, Ed.

Always reading.  Usually about WWII or airplanes.  GG and Bubba got him this book for his birthday and he had all of the major points read in a week (it is hundreds of pages).

Still reading at dark...

John was able to join us for the OSU Super Regional for NCAA Softball.  We had a blast - had never been to an OSU game until this weekend.  Quicker and more fun than a baseball game, AND they advanced to the World Series!

Pickleball.
It's kind of our new favorite activity to do together.  We reserved a court at Chicken and Pickle and had my folks join us.  Great time and great place!

Reid walked to the gas station with me, wearing this hat, and waving to every single car that drove by for the three mile adventure.

Love that these boys are still kids and still play...

Just a pretty picture of our house!

Falls Creek 2021!

I'm shrinking!!!  2019, 2020, and 2021 heading off to youth camps!

Mrs. Webber and her students!

Reid enjoyed several nights of being spoiled by his parents AND getting paid to water flowers and house sit a neighbor's pool!  Pretty great time!

He's officially an OSU employee!  Kinda weird to have my high schooler with an OSU ID!

Adventuring out to play pickleball in Stillwater!

Finally able to get JW out to McMurtry to go hiking with me/us.  We just did 4 miles this day but it was a good day!

The 'ol van hit 90,000!

"yessir" as Kyle would say!  Rippin-in-Lippin for the win, again!

Eddie climbed on to the counter and got a waffle while his brothers were getting ready for school.

Pictures sent from a friend at the Colvin Center of this guy on duty!  He has officially earned his first paycheck and is averaging 32 hours/week right now.

Last day of school treats for the carpool gang!

8th grade dance. Studs. (?)
One of the girl's families in their grade owns an event center in town and invited all 8th graders to a semi-formal as they haven't had a school dance in 2 years.  A huge crowd showed up and the girls decked out in sequins and mini(mini mini) skirts.

The carpool gang...

Bring your kid (and nephew) (seems like so many days in the past year) to work day.  Pretty much a great place to have a parent work - nerf fights all over the church!

My birthday. Example of pictures all out of order!  Oh well... cheers to 41 great years!  What do I want for my birthday?!  Trees trimmed!  :)

I didn't crop before posting (sorry) but here is the app of the week - Disney character.
