Reid's 5th party

Reid and his love for airplanes was the reason for the party location! We were able to have it at the OSU airplane hangar.

Hanging out in the cockpit of the "play" plane

Dad used to fly these planes when he was a college kid and beyond!  I have never known him to have his pilot's license, though. It may be a myth!  :)

We played "musical planes" and flew from cloud to cloud.

we ate pizza, pretzels, and cupcakes

We also played "pin the propeller on the plane" game.
(yes, I drew Mr. Airplane!)

Some of the friends! We had a few show up just after we took this. The Panthers had a tball game this evening so many of the teammates were dressed and ready!

Bubs and his oldest three grandbabies

Reid had been sick for a week at this point. He did great this day, though, to make it through all the activities.  This may have been the best part of my day!  Not much sweeter than some kid cuddles when they ask for it!
Here a few from last week I haven't gotten to posting yet!
Grant with his "other" teacher!

happy anniversary to this fella! #14

Grant with his graduation awards - racked up three!

My friend sent me these from the last day of school... We used to carpool with this family! What a perfect way to end their elementary but to arrive and walk in together!

It's been raining. A lot. Max came over for some rain baseball.
Because they don't get enough...

Juliane and I hosted a last day of school party for 14 fifth graders and their siblings. Too bad Reid was sick and couldn't come! Mom watched him so we could still par-tay!

As I mentioned before, Jason baked my cake. This is how his kitchen looks after every meal he cooks - messy!! It may have been the best cake, yet, though!

Reid and his animals... About 11 roly poly bugs!

our turtle from a few summers ago returned!  :)
