Carpool selfie!

We went to Our Daily Bread over break to volunteer.  Always a good experience!

Reid's team, the Wolf Pack, was able to play at an OSU game.  They sat right behind the cheerleaders and loved it all!

Coaches and kids!

Video below!  Reid even scored a goal!

Grant, Kyle and I had 2nd row seats from an auction.  It was amazing sitting down this low and so close to the action.

That is Pete wiping Jason's bald head with his towel!  :)  cracked us up!

our house was home to up to 14 youth kids one day, all day, as they were in and out.  It was really fun!

picture in the wrong post... cute one of the men!

also separated from the other gingerbread picture  :)

prewash cycle... complete!

the hugest strawberry I have ever seen!

We went to the Myrins for a cousin dinner and let the kiddos play.  Super fun time for both generations!  It is neat to see my kids be "the big kids" as I had so many older cousins in the Hall side to look up to like this, and still do.  I also love my Hefner "same age" crew!

We closed out a healthy, happy, successful and memorable year with the Coils and Bales at dinner before heading home to watch Willy Wonka with our boys.  We paused the movie at 11:55 - celebrated loudly - and then continued the show.
Cheers!

Holiday Misc and Kyle's Theater performance

Mom and Dad had two extra tickets to Rudolph and so Reid and I were able to join!

It is an outstanding facility!

"You're out of screen time, Kyle"
"Ok. But what if I watched Hallmark with you?"
"Ok, surely!"
And this was his face - we picked a good one!

Family ornament 2019

You can find us on the couch all cuddled up! :)

Reid.  This just came up in an old feed.  Had to reshare.  What a cutie!

We celebrated a friend turning 40 with a fiesta!

cuddles in church

gingerbread house.  The other picture is in the Christmas post  :)

One of Kyle's electives this semester was Theater Arts.  As part of their grade, they had to perform a skit in front of the school and then an evening one for parents.  He did a super job!

Author Jodi Piccoult came to town and talked at a dinner for the OSU Library.  A friend bought a table and made a girl's night out of it.

Christmas events part 2

Christmas is the best time!  This year, we had no travel plans and Jason was off work a few extra days than usual.  We used the time to snuggle and make memories.  Reid fell asleep on my one night in the glow of his room's green Christmas lights.

3rd grade class party!

Eddie loves car rides!

Melanie hosted a cookie exchange for several of the neighborhood kiddos and then we gave a tray to whomever we picked.

Reid had a few rough days of forgetting to follow directions at school.  It's a good day when you get  selfie from the teacher and a big thumbs up!

Singing is fun!  Too bad I am not so great at it.
We hosted the UHBC staff for a party, and when I was finished setting up, I grabbed my childhood mic and sang carols for a while.  I did receive a few eye rolls from the boys.  HA!

The crew minus two.

Sunday school party (with kids this year)

Eddie's photo shoot  :)  He is kinda perfect!

please can I come upstairs!

Sugar cookie time with Mrs. Claus!

We watched National Lampoon's at Mom and Dad's this year.  Reid's first year - he laughed hysterically!

Beth had a birthday!

Christmas Eve was at Mom and Dad's house.  It was a beautiful day and we had a good time!
Family pictures:

Aunt LaRue

Grant read the Christmas story this year

the pups got to play again

Reid was all in to Santa this  year.  He made and brought this down by himself.

flannel time!

Christmas day was at Nana's in Vanoss.  We didn't take one group picture! eek.
The boys wanted Manning to come back so he spent three days with us.  They slept like this every night!  :)

They biked to the gas station for treats. We went golfing...

Tried out some cheese fries for his first visit to Joes...

...then went to the land to have the ponds stocked for fish.

This kid loves legos.  He did three sets in as many days, one of which was huge!
