Baseball and a field trip

Not sure it's a good thing that Reid likes to take after his mommy when it comes to cookies being left on the counter... he drags the stool over and then is caught!  They sure were yummy....

Go Pioneers!
Baseball (kid pitch) has sent us to Edmond this year.  The Stillwater competitive league did not make (only 3 teams and that does not make a good season) so we're heading about 50 minutes for our games.  This group of boys is special to us - good parents, good kids, and good ball players.  In our game last week, they beat "the team" from last season 7-6.  Grant has played catcher and third base.  Pitching is coming up...
I have loved this season more than I expected - our games are always double headers and they're every other week so it hasn't been bad to drive to games, and when we go, it's worth it!  Reid and Kyle have been troopers and are great at the games, too, which makes this mommy much happier!
They're 3-1 so far.

First at bat of the season....

Kyle's first inning of coach pitch - catcher!

I was able to join Kyle's class on a grade field trip to OSU.  They received tours of several buildings...

... walked a lot...

... and met some local superstars!

and this little guy hangs out with me and keeps me smiling!
