Good morning, sunshine!
Kyle Douglass Walker hit the double digit mark a week ago! What a joy he is to us and he brings kindness, compassion and joy to most situations.
I took him Chickfila for school lunch THEN returned with WARM pigs in a blanket and orange juice for his class party! (who picks THAT for a class party?!) He was on a breakfast food kick this year.
His party was "pancakes and sausage" - and open gym time. Quick and easy.
His group of friends has dramatically changed in the past year. Each of these guys are such a blessing to him!
We took them to open gym - it.was.so.crowded. I asked Reid to stay on the little kid toys as much as possible, which turned out to be fun when he found his Westwood crew!

Kyle had a game the night of his birthday and then could pick dinner. He chose Texas Roadhouse.
What a fun surprise when Kyle, who was sitting at the "odd-man-out" end of the table, turned to his side and said "Hey, Phil. That was a great 3 pointer you made last night" in reference to beating OU. He then was able to get his picture taken with him!
Candles and cake at a way-too-late-for-a-school-night time! Long day!
We surprised him with a court layout on the driveway and a LED floodlight to play ball at nighttime for his birthday.
His excitement proved right - "This was the best gift I didn't even know I wanted!"
