We took a road trip today to Wichita State to watch the Falcons play ball.
Grant had messaged a guy from the team to let him know we were coming, and Reid was asked to be the bat boy!
He was part of their team prayer huddle!

Jason and I had our hearts racing a bit the first few innings. He was getting "strongly encouraged" from Caoch Kaz to hustle really fast for every foul ball, and told to never let the other team beat him to a ball. Being told "Go!" by a military head coach can be a bit intimidating.
But can an 8 year old follow the game that closely and be that fast?
Whew... he did great. Just a few mishaps that we are laughing at now.
