Air Force Academy Cadet

This is the day that changed Grant's life.
About 5 minutes after this picture was taken, we followed the path to the Visitor's Center and came across a baseball player. I stopped him to verify he plays there and we chatted a few minutes asking questions. Grant didn't know it was an option to play baseball and serve America.
He fell in love with the campus and the idea of the military on July 8, 2017.

Supporting America his entire life.
Visit 1 - 2017
Visit 2 - 2018 baseball camp
2018 - visit to DC and Grant asked to go by the AF office in the Capitol.

2022 Summer Seminar

Grant has sacrificed a lot the past several years to continue on the path he is on choosing his future over the present.  His course selections are unmatched to another senior, much less the grades he made in those classes.  He studied for the ACT. He made sure to engage in extracurricular activities, going for the leadership roles, and serving with volunteer projects.  The amount of effort put forth into each Academy nomination is a lot; add to that the three separate applications for a Congressional nomination, hoping to achieve at least one of them.  So far, he's 2/2 having received one from both Frank Lucas and Jim Inhofe. He interviews with James Lankford in two days.

I am so proud of him. I am so proud that his dreams are coming true. It's pretty hard to describe the emotions of a parent having watched this entire process.

The next day, Grant received a fantastic packet from West Point with so many cool goodies. We have been VERY impressed with this school and the people who represent it.
I would happily support anyone I know to attend.
