Longest pile of pictures!

This post is my camera's pictures from the past month.  I must have been busy cleaning to not have uploaded pictures for 34 days!  That's a long time for me.

- More Lemonade Stand -   My marketing son is out at the main street trying to pull in traffic

Reid's my tornado now - he is in to every cabinet, crevice, anything he can find - included the dishwasher.  I don't let him do this anymore (heaven forbid it break before we close!).  Jason also fed him a pickle, which he actually tasted and didn't react too much to it.

...and the infamous toilet paper roll being strung out by those sweet cheeks!

I give the boys their haircuts.  Pretty opposite in color!  Variety IS the spice of life!

STAR WARS EXHIBIT!
Woot woot!
The big boys and I headed to Wichita today to go to the traveling Star Wars exhibit at the Exploration Place, or whatever the museum's name is - didn't actually see the logo too often (poor branding and marketing - just a hint, museum people, if you ever read this!)
The boys were Pumped, with a capital P!
The first part was as we were waiting for the Dome Theater experience.  There were dozens of different posters related to the movie, in several languages - some great, some completely dorky.
the pendulum - had to explain all about the earth rotating/spin/gravity for this one
 Dome
In this theater, the staff politely ask you not to talk during the show.  Can you guess which of my kids said no less than 10 times throughout the show "Hey, we're moving!  Look, we're moving!"

Mini Golf at the Museum - cool bridge at the Wichita Riverwalk in the background

THE EXHIBIT
(seriously, how cool is that photo?!?! We were there!!!!!!)

As a 100% Boy Mom, I really don't have a choice but to get excited about the things that excite my kids, no matter how much I would naturally want to like/experience/listen to it.  Case in point: traveling 2 hours each way to go look at the costumes, see the light sabers, listen to the noises, ride the hovercrafts (okay so that part was way fun!), etc, that were in Star Wars.  I don't want to recap each photo (plus, I would get detail incorrect and the boys would remind me).

So, please just simply enjoy the photos, knowing how much joy radiated from my kids' faces today!

yes, Kyle did wear his Jedi robe/belt/lightsabers the entire 4 hours we were at the museum.  :)

I was pleasantly surprised by the detail in the exhibit.  Not only were there a lot of "real" stuff to view, there was a significant number of interactive screens, puzzles, games, etc for kids (and adults!) to try.
Problem-solving, robot-building, scenario-developing... It was more than just the movie artifacts.

Elsewhere in the museum.... it was clean and nice, but not worth a trip from our town for just the museum.
We went to the Game Show - and both boys were asked to participate out of the entire audience.  It was Jeopardy-style, with an overall theme of science (I think categories were Robots, Things that Move, Space, Wibble Wobble, and something else)

Grant won.  Kyle didn't care that he didn't get any of his correct.
I love the fact they are not shy - hopped up there, talked on a microphone, and Kyle even said on the mic when it was over, "Great job, Grant."

Flight Simulator (we all crashed every time)

FUN DAY!!!!!
It was capped off by dinner and a visit from my high school friend, and Jason's dental school partner (small world, I know!).  He's a special person and it was great to catch up!
