So much more running lately!
The boys went to a meet in Shawnee and were able to run together for a little bit before Grant decided to speed up.
Reid and his dudes have been having a lot of play time after school, which is really great since I am not home after school, and I'm thankful to friends who realize that and invite him over.
Big kickball game one day! Got this from a mom.
He spends a day a week with my parents, and got to happily play cards this time.
Kyle became a "legend" for a day via social media. He was filming himself trying a new kick and completely wiped out. He sent it to a friend, who posted it online (exactly what we have told our kids would happen), and ta da.
But, who am I kidding - he loves the extra attention.
Birthday surprise party for Gabi and Maggie.
There were a lot of games, and one was that 100 minnows were dumped in to the pool. The boy winner and the girl winner would each get a pizza brought to them at school for lunch. Kyle (44) and Avyn (32) were the winners.

We have a quick trip to Nashville over Labor Day weekend. We're at the point that the kids are starting to check out college campuses so we hit University of Arkansas on the way there. It was so hilly!!!
We passed "The Pyramid" Bass Pro and you'd think Kyle was in heaven.
We hit Lower Broadway and did the touristy stuff, including over priced milkshakes at LegenDAIRY. Cute name.
This was a cool mural.
We stayed by Vanderbilt so Grant could go check it out. It was a great time to visit as they had a home football game and the party scene was in full force among the students.
Jason asked several kids if they liked going there, and one of the campus tour guides told us "Study Hard, Party Hard." We believe it after being there.
Reid and Tate swimming at the YMCA.
EMHS fans - look familiar?!?! HOLY COW, and it is so on-trend right now!
May be the only pic Josh and I take all season.
Just the trash we found IN THE COUCH in the room where food/drink aren't really allowed. Great job following directions, boys.
This is Kyle. He is outside on the deck with the coziest makeshift adopt-a-dog setup allowed here. Why?
Because this is "Rat" as I named him. A teeny tiny Chihauhau that I found near 19th and Sangre. I felt bad about driving by him as it was over 100 that day, so I went home and grabbed Reid and we took some dog food/water. We went back four hours later, and he was in the same spot and he was SO sweet. Animal services wasn't helping since it was the weekend. He lived with us for a few days until they came to get him. We never saw him posted online so our hope is that he was microchipped and his owners wanted him back. Hope so!
We hit up the Payne County Fair. Grant and Kyle both went separately with their groups of friends. We took Reid and Isaac and they rode the craziest ride there - twice!
They are now a legitimate company!
New professional work nook for me! Sitting here as I type right now... my first adult workspace that is for me alone (no kids allowed unless they have permission to be at my desk).
Jason's sitting across from me in the chair, drinking his Woodford whiskey, and said this may be our new hangout spot. I agree! New lighting and paint coming in here soon.
