17 and baseball

Happy 17th to this kiddo!  16 was probably one of his top years, socially, academically and physically. Proud of everything he hopes to accomplish and amazed at what he fits into each day!

11U season has started!  We have a heck of a coaching staff this year!

With Cooper covering 1st and 2nd

Smiling really quickly while waiting to go bat.

The other team was warming up a new pitcher - "Hey, Reid, smile" and this was his expression and "mom, it's a game!"  :)  love it

This navy officer, bless his amazing heart, talked with Reid for more than 10 minutes at Chickfila while he was picking up orders for his crew. Luke Johnston had just landed at Tinker and went to grab food, and ran into a very curious and talkative 10 year old.
Then, he gave Reid his squadron (I'm not sure that is the right term) patch!
Reid was SO HAPPY!

Pioneer baseball official game opener in Piedmont last week.  Grant started right field one game and was catcher the next game.

Madison's job brought her to Stilly for the day so we met up for a quick dinner!
It's been since before Covid since we've seen her - the boys have grown!
Love her so much!

a beautiful game at O'Brate Stadium!
