Spring Break

Silhouette tracing for the 5th graders!
it was so wonderful/odd to be back in the school doing something.
This just happens to be Izzy, too!

Grant has been doing all the things lately... He was apparently quite the stud on the court and the varsity girls talked about him joining their team next year.

We didn't have anything big planned for spring break - and that's exactly what they boys asked for and we delivered!  The adults worked normal schedules and we had fun events to do here and there.  Enjoy!

Baseball in Stillwater!
Sometimes, he likes me still.
Cheering on our favorite batter!

Dads and sons
Walker, Keys, Chaloners

We started spring break with snow on the ground.  This was the Friday before break.  Grant left at 7:20 to be early to his Meridian class, and this is where he called me from. He slid on ice right then left and down. Thankful no cars were coming and that he landed in a ditch and not curb/mailbox, etc. He walked to school (you can see the sign) and then after class, he (Dad) drove it out of the ditch as it had melted enough by then.  Great experience for him as a police officer stopped so he had the emotions of a wreck without the cause or damage being done.  We also let him skip history and join at Fridaway!

Just two sets of brown eyes!

Mom and Dad's big adventure has started!

This is what "bible study" looks like when freshmen lead freshmen during spring break. At least they met!

hahaha

We did a lot of clearing at the land.  Trying to get the dams clear of trees, and we did more than half of one in an afternoon.

Kyle stayed at the land overnight during spring break with his friend on the adjoining land (in his house - they weren't roughing it!).  They made some great memories.

Reid and I took a day trip to Norman to see OU and AF play baseball and then we went to visit my aunts.

These two went out on St. Patty's day and got free green OSU tshirts.

Reid and I went to the airport again - had been a while - and watched several planes do touch and gos.
