Summer, Basketball and birthdays!

Last day of school! Goofy picture with Mrs. Kachner to close out Westwood.

We had a group of 5th grade dudes over after school to play and have an end of elementary school party! They're a great group.

Grant spent his first night of summer at a pool party with his friends.

We spent two days in the gym watching Kyle do his thing on the court... they lost both of the games the first day.

so I blamed it on his hair being too long and the fact he couldn't see the goal...

... and since it was my birthday, I cut 1/2" off when we got home - he could see so much better! You would have thought I buzzcut it instead of cut to the bottom of his eyebrows. 

...which meant on Day 2, they won their games and made it to the championship!

Since I spent my birthday in the gymnasium while Jason and Reid were at baseball, Jason made my birthday dessert and we ate at different times - but, we did grab a picture bright and early before we all headed out different directions. Thanks, Jason!

Mom and Dad came to basketball for one day to hang out!

Picked Kyle up from Driver's Ed... this was how he pulled in to the parking spot.

Volleyball has officially started - teams are set and pictures have been taken!

so much rain lately and Kyle and Owen hit up a lot of local spots on a few occasions.
