Ski trip, Recognition

Grant and his classmates went through Recognition last weekend. This is the culmination of "junk" from the past nine months and his life is now a little more normal. No more early morning military drilling, he can walk anywhere on campus, use any stairwell, not have special knowledge tests, and wear civilian clothes outside of classes. Yea!
This is Major Huge - the officer in charge of their squadron.
One cool thing about Recognition didn't get to happen due to 24" of snow. During this, the seniors and the freshmen would run to The Rock together while the sophomores and juniors decorated the dorms. Not sure exactly what they did to get Grant's classmates out of the area so they could do it, but they did.  After it was all over, they arrived to a decorated room. These messages left on his desk are pure gold.

The next day, upperclassmen asked Grant to go on a ruck with them (before Rec, you can only hang out with Doolies).
Kyle loving his job as the dental office yard employee.
Kyle and Eddie came to visit me at work - it was so fun!
These fellas hung out several nights over spring break. Video games at Colby's and a lot of basketball at our house.
Kristy came over and we had margaritas and quesadillas!

Jason and Reid went on the UHBC ski trip and made some great memories.
