Last two weeks!

Busy busy busy bees we've been the past two weeks. The adult activities include being a shuttle service, Jason working on 24 of the OSU mouthguards for the football season, my serving as the snack preparer for our church's VBS, organizing both the t-ball season and our adult softball league, and then playing in two softball games. Grant has been busy with swim lessons, VBS, and then an awesome soccer camp this week. Kyle attended his first VBS (and enjoyed the stage performance that goes with it!) and has been an awesome travel buddy with me as we go all around Stillwater doing piddly little errands that have to be completed but aren't any fun!

So Grant's soccer camp: a blast. We are discovering that he's quite the little player, and has developed a great sportsmanship attitude. Every day, they'd close with 2 scrimmages. Of the 10, he was player of the game 5 of those times!!!! Yes, we were proud. I just happened to have the camera this day - this is the coach talking about him. In this particular instance, his team lost 2-0. However, G went and high-fived everyone, including the other team, and was cheering everyone on.

The coaches are here through a program called Challenger: British Soccer, or something like that. They're from England (and Wales) and this is their summer job. Not only was a it fun to listen to their accents, but they were SO smart and great with the kids. Sign us up for next year!

Kyle and I went swimming one morning when Grant was at soccer. Here is he - not afraid of anything!!! The 5 foot diving board was jumped off at least 30 times this morning (with me treading water to "catch" him as he jumped).
VBS - they did the High Seas Adventure. here is Kyle in his class going over one of the lessons with Mika! he loves Mika!
There were only 6 kids in Grant's age group, which was a great thing. Here is he getting snacks for this day with his friend, Lainey. His bud, Mason, was absent this day!

Here's a shot of the snacks. The snacks each day were incorporated into the Bible lesson. This was part of Paul and John being on the water fishing. blue water, foamy waves, land, and worms.
