Some could wonder "why would they drive 14 hours to go back to the same place to vacation each summer?"
This is just a teensy piece of why...
It's so fun!
Doug's family and Greg's family started out in 1980 as neighbors, each with 2 kids, a boy and a girl. Greg's then added another little gal. Those 5 kids grew up together in the same church, started their own families, and we're all still friends! One of the "other" kids is also local and they decided to have a Fair Hills party for the entire bunch. It was the first time in, dare I say at least a decade, that nearly everyone has been together.
Here is the group, minus Robin who is the photographer, and a few of the Pinter boys. There are 28 in the group.
The kids loved the hot tub time!

He now has his own in our backyard that we set up for Father's Day!

Those trees across the pond are our neighborhood and that pond is the one in this picture that we stumbled upon on a family walk. We didn't know the neighborhoods connected!
