Mid June pictures

Funny enough, these pictures are all within a week old - we have been doing a lot to keep busy so far this summer!

Jason FINALLY got "his" basketball goal that he has been dreaming of for years.  It is also our go-to now when tornadoes come to town because there is 1200 pounds of concrete holding the goal down.  (not really our safe room as we have a tornado room but this thing is sturdy).  We figured we have 16 more years of boys living at this house with us at a minimum and didn't want one to fall over in our OK winds.
Here are Grant and Kyle in the massive hole!

Fridaway.  Yummy cheese sticks!

Bro time on the driveway.

We have had several kindergarten/first grade boy playdates, too.  This one was with Mez - the entire dining room was turned in to a huge fort (and 4 days later, it still looks exactly like this - who really cares, anyways?!?!).

How's this picture for a kicker in the middle of the blog?
This "little stick" can be the best thing to ever happen to a person or perhaps a hugely dreaded tool.
Fortunately, it came back the way we wanted at this point.
I have been nauseous and was several days late.
Thank you, God, for this result for our family.

Reid got a little pool for his birthday and is always in it either 1. fully dressed or 2. diaperless and in a water shirt.  Here he is in his shirt but somehow came outside wearing Kyle's book bag.  Pretty happy boy!

BASEBALL!!!
We had seven games this week between both teams.  I am actually going to miss the boys, the game, and the families after our last game on Tuesday.  The Braves (who are currently undefeated with 1 game left) celebrated with a pizza party on Friday night.  Way to go, boys!
Great group of kids and families.  We are lucky this group of kids can grow up together.
We did have some typical boy jokes this night: poking holes in cups, unscrewing the grated cheese lid so when your friend used it, it poured everywhere, putting cheese in hair...  :)

Kyle's friend, Bodey, from the Hot Rods.  His brother was on Grant's team so we saw a lot of them this year!

Kyle's great friend, Blake.

I just took a picture rather than buying the group photo... sorry they're not looking at me!

 And then this fella....
We're hoping he is the mama snake (so then it would need to be a she!) to all of the babies we have had around here.  Best guess from a facebook poll is the Diamondback Oklahoma Water snake.  Non-venomous but eats fish as main source of food.  He was about 4' long.
Y-U-C-K!!!!!!!!!!!
