Our condo in Oceanside was amazing!
This was the first picture I took on Tuesday morning after waking up to see our view (it was dark when we arrived!). There's the pier and Ruby's restaurant where we ate on Monday night at the end of it.
The rest of these are either from the patio or the beach in this picture. We had a beach day on Tuesday and the weather couldn't have been better (well, maybe a few degrees warmer!!!) but it was perfect. Our family also played on Friday for a little while!
Our condo is the brown one, second floor!
First visit to the ocean!
the boys mastered boogie boarding
(I was THE master, but no one took a photo of me with our camera. wah wah)

Reid loved the never-ending pile of fun to dig through and rake and shovel!
Mom got her feet wet!
Jeff, Josh, and Jackson joined for this portion of the party!
Jackson and Josh showed our boys how to really play in the sand, California style!

A Lover's Stroll! :)
Sunset Tuesday night... pretty but not the best.
Tuesday night brought a storm and huge waves. This was the same beach on Wednesday. There was a 2' drop, and then solid rocks that had been either washed up, or exposed. Either way, we were so glad this wasn't our chosen beach day! It wasn't nearly as fun or pretty.
By Friday's lunch, Reid was officially worn out. He did such a great job traveling this trip - we didn't have a melt down the entire nine days!
Friday's sunset - much better! I took a lot of photos and couldn't decide which to post so you, my sweet reader, get to see several!
and it's gone... just like we were going to be twelve hours later!
