for two weeks we've been busy!

The few weeks before Christmas were a blur for us!  Between acclimating to "normal" life post-Disney and end-of-school events and seasonal parties, it was full!
Grant's Gifted and Talented class had a mock trial at our courthouse.
It was so fun!

Grant is a witness under oath!

I had a Hallmark movie night at our home, explained to my kids as a Mommy Playdate, and then they understood!  Kristy came early to help prepare (and just have fun!).

Some of my good friends!

Jason and I hosted our Sunday school class for our Christmas party. We had 20 this night, with only three not able to come!

This was one of many girlie parties. I only know about half of the ladies, and the night for me was short because it was the night we hosted our Sunday School at our home earlier to this event. Fun night, though!

Reid's loving to play pretend, and since our trip, he loves to fly his airplane (keyboard) and have others sit in the seats behind him.  :)

Our family is blessed by health and a desire to serve others, and we used that this year by ringing the Salvation Army bell one night!  The boys loved it!

Ironically, the same man who set us up to ring one night was at Grant's school the following morning to collect items their class had gathered for two local students.  Students who were able could sign up to bring an item or two.

We hosted our staff Christmas party at Karsten Creek.
Great group of staff right now!

Sweet Amaris (and her mom!!!) visited for a quick trip!

Another Christmas party - the favor - I like to remember this story.

I took Reid to Chickfila by myself one day. This is something we rarely do, and it was fun to see him still wanting to play in the kiddie area.  Not for too much longer - bittersweet!

Kyle's awesome nativity drawing.

Dashing Decorative Duds day at school.  It was also class party day!

He makes an adorable elf!

School Cookies-n-Carols - a favorite!

Miss Meredith was able to go with us to the sing-a-long and to dinner.  Her grandparents and my grandparents were close friends at Mayfair Church of Christ!!!

Friday brought the Ukulele Club performance.  Grant had a blast!

Kyle's teacher was named Teacher of the Year.
I had to stop in on pajama day to get a class photo!

Santa was at Braums!!!

GG and Rudolph

We took our friend/future cousin, Madison, out to a finals week dinner, and while we were there, Santa came to Mexico Joes!!!
