Oceanside Turkey Trot

Five of us participated in the Oceanside Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning. It's the 8th largest trot in the nation!  Mom was kind and volunteered to watch Reid.  My dad was participating in his first race! Selfie on the walk over to the walk... we were only blocks from the start!  :)

The adults.

The boys!

The next several of these photos were taken by the race photographers. I love this one as it is Grant leaving Jeff "in his dust!"  Ha.

This is how most of my race went - dodging traffic!

Our boys... running their little hearts out!

The ocean tide was so high this morning! The waves were crashing over the rocks behind us and onto the course. Jeannie said she'd never seen it this high - it was so cool that we had to stop and take a picture to capture!  We were great running buddies!  Jason and I had planned to walk with Dad, but when Jeannie took off, we wanted to join.  It was a great pace.

Missing Jeff and Jackson who'd already left to go work on the turkey!
