Colorado Day 2

This day was spent in Colorado Springs and Denver.

I love everything Olympics so this was so fun to see! Spot Karch?!

Not all sports prepare here, but a lot of the non-snow ones headquarter here.

 

The building is their cafeteria. Up to 140 resident athletes live here, and then behind this building are regular dorms for visiting athletes and high school prospects.  Once they are residents, all expenses are paid and most get a stipend.

Next stop on this Saturday was the Air Force Academy.

then he did another....  :)

 

that evening we drove to Denver for the Rockies game.

It was Marvel bobblehead night.

 

First thing we did after entering the stadium was to run up to the purple row of seats - these are officially a mile high!
