Fair Hills 2018

The journey begins... Minnesota or bust!
The past few trips to Fair Hills we've said "This is our last year" but alas, we have all wanted to go again.  Reid didn't have a great memory from 2016's trip so we knew we must go "one last time" for his sake!  The pictures are grouped in order during events, but not necessarily overall in order.  Enjoy!

"Let's go to Pelican Lake, it's the place you can take your little ones..."

We have always thought the fields are very pretty in Nebraska and South Dakota... we are sharing our 80 mph photos with you!

Who YA gonna call?!?  Ghostbusters!

Brett Hall and Grant tied, out of the whole resort, for Blackout Bingo and won the monetary prize - $26/each!

They think they're so big cruising in the golf cart. That's our cabin.

The weather changed very quickly during the campfire and the smores were moved inside to the fireplace.
These are all within a 30 minute period from the lobby deck.

The boys had ski lessons.  It was overcast and rained a little bit.  Reid did a great job... the big boys struggled.  Grant took another lesson later in the week and did better.

Only two at a time so Reid is waiting his turn and turned it in to a modeling session

You did a great job, buddy!

Hi, Robin!

Tennis lessons! We discovered Reid plays tennis as a lefty.

Waterslide!
Jason didn't do it this year as he picked to have a tennis lesson at this time.  Grant only went down two times.

Reid pictures first...

Fireworks from Hole 1

Kyle and Grant did this Jet Board adventure.  It is a board attached to a jet ski and it is pushed up with the wake pressure. Kyle's connection was messed up at the beginning (he was struggling) and the instructor did figure it out in time to allow Kyle to catch on - he ended up doing really great after a rough start.

While the big boys had their toys, Reid just enjoyed many jumps from the tower.

Grant caught on pretty quick and spent most of his time in the air!

Jason tried the Water Jet Pack experience - he nailed it!  The instructor said he was super impressed with both his control and height.  This is another instance of my inability to select just a few pictures to post - too many fun ones!

Torpedo Rides!

Kyle is the one standing up on back and taunting the driver... of course

Serves him right!

There was a ten minute rain shower - Reid danced for us

We drove all the way home on Sunday - we had happy boys the entire way!

Thank you, Lord, for safe travels, Thank you, Jason, for enabling our family to make such fun memories together - it may be briefly taken for granted at times but not in the big picture - love you!
