We were out of the condo at 7am and went to the Volcano National Park at the southern end of the island. Our first stop was the Kilauea Overlook and Trail which was 4.0 miles and a good start to the day.

Chain of Craters Road - 18 mile down and back
Drove to the Green Sand Beach and found it was a 3 mile walk each way. We googled it and left it be.
Lava cliffs towards the end of the drive.

We drove back to Kona for sandwiches at our condo.
