Fun Second Grade Boys! A friend's 8th birthday party - this is G's "group" of friends. It'll be fun to see who is still best buds in 10 years!

Kinder teachers on Dr. Seuss day! Kyle's is in the red; Grant's teacher is in the green.
Those in Kyle's class who dressed up. He told me on Thursday night about this happening on Friday. Very quickly (thank you, google) came up with the "Star Bellied Sneetch" costume. After about $8.00 at Hobby Lobby, it turned out pretty cute, AND he was the only one in the whole kindergarten dressed like one!
The yellow visor is the sneetch's beak, in case you're wondering. He wore it on his head like normal the rest of the day.
Reid - again - wanting to be doing everything his brothers are doing!
The second grade is studying the Iditarod right now, complete with selecting a musher they think will win after reviewing their history and taking a big guess. http://iditarod.com/race/2013/ Grant's musher is Scott Jansen, currently in 36th place (he started 2nd - whoops!). The curriculum is complete with a visit from a sled dog. This is a friend's dad - I didn't know he was visiting Grant's class.
