Date night

Our friends, Matt and Beth (otherwise known as Elizabeth at times to her husband!), asked us on a double date last night.

We had absolutely no plans to start the evening except to meet up and go to dinner.  Here we are getting ready to enjoy our meal!

 We then had no plans? Bowling? no... Ice cream? eventually... "Hey! I have been wanting boots. Let's go shopping," said Matt, and off we went.  Ironically, Jason is getting boots for his birthday from me, and we had yet to find a pair.  It worked out perfectly.  Both guys found some boots!

We also thought it would be really, um...., "cool" to take random pictures throughout the night.  So we have Matt with the guy with a 12" mohawk (I wanted to show Kyle his hair and I was too chicken to ask him to pose!), Jason being a silly goober at the store, Jason and a fire hydrant, and then the boys at the new restaurant getting ready to open on the strip - Two Guys with Weiners....  we're not sure why you would invest in such a business (much less across from Coney Island!) but... made for a funny picture.

Beth got the sweet pose with the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory bear.  The boys' boots at the checkout.  The odd old man statue in downtown and me.  The Streeters all dooded up in their Western attire.

Finishing the night with Orange Leaf.  We saw lots of friends, too!
