Fun first week of November

Cowboy basketball opened up their season and Kyle was able to go with GG and Bubba to the game. He comes home naming all of the guys and stats and I try hard to pay attention, but I can still only name 3 of our players.  I try!

Kyle and a few friends from Ag were given money from their teacher and told to improve the world. So they chose the dog park. They bought supplies and went to spend time with them. He came home wanting another dog.

Jason and some of his friends went on a RV trip to the OSU v West Virginia game.
Yes, they had a blast.

They went on a bourbon tour, to Louisville Slugger, bet on races at Churchill Downs, all before getting the best parking spot at West Virginia and making friends with everyone around them.

This is the mascot. I forgot the number, but it was a crazy high amount of places/events he has to go to annually.  This is his second year to do it. No shaving that beard in the summer!

If you saw a bunch of Dad Bods in matching orange ski bibs on tv, it was this dorky crew who thought they were so funny and awesome. Whatever makes the memories!  They cheered loud and the Pokes pulled out the win!

Meanwhile, back at home, I think we were supposed to realize he was gone but we were having too much fun (but glad it was only a few days!). Cute selfie with this teenager. He was off to StuCo State convention in Norman for 3 days with the Stillwater delegation. He had a great time!

Reid and I binged watched 4 Harry Potter movies on Friday night and Saturday. Whew. It was a lot but he is now caught up through the books he has read (#4).  We may have also had a Jurassic Park binge at somepoint a week or two before this.

Reid made sure to keep the bed warm for Jason for when he got home.  We had a super late bedtime and then he still had to read and catch up on missing airplane facts.

Reid is our "yes!" kid.  He is always up for anything. We headed to McMurtry and read in our hammocks after some hiking, and then headed to GG and Bubba's to watch something.

Kyle, Reid and I made a trip to Edmond for Mexican. That was all. Just a restaurant.
