School conferences

Grizzle Grant
Cons:
1. He is very wiggly - won't sit still
2. He sometimes likes to be defiant if the teacher has a differing idea than him.
3. Does not like science

Pros:
1. Very smart in math.  Scored 5.5 (5th grade, 5th month) on his math test and she is amazed at his advanced thought process and ability to explain how he came to an answer.
2. Smart in reading.  4.8 (4th, 8th month)
3. Has a lot of buddies

Mr. Kyle
Cons:
1. There was one... JW - what was it?!?

Pros:
1. Very smart in reading.  Scored 4.0 on reading test (4th grade).  Fluent and fast as well
2. Smart in math.  Scored 2.8 (2nd, 8th month).  Loves math
3. Has matured so much and doesn't "blurt" like last year (same teacher so great for comparison).  He will actually sit and color real pictures, not just scribbles, and tries to write better and spell better.
4. Most importantly, she said he is the most empathetic kid she has had and that he is so kind to every student, and he has the biggest heart and a happy word for everyone.  :)
